Chicago Studio Newborn Session
I loved working with Prachi and Kaushik when I met them last year for their maternity session. Their gallery then was stunning and we instantly clicked! Such an incredibly sweet couple who couldn't wait to meet their baby boy!
Due to unforeseen circumstances there were complications after birth and we weren't able to schedule Kiyansh until he was 8 weeks old, which is much further along than I ever suggest doing newborn sessions. Despite being much older and having had a bit of a rougher start, he was a perfect little baby! Being older he didn't really want to sleep all that much, but we were able to get some adorable sleepy shots and poses as well as fully alert and full eye contact.
He's a sweet little warrior who's going to go through life having already survived the hardest and the rest is easy breezy from here. We started off with parent photos, and being 8 weeks old he was much larger, and heavier than a typical newborn. He was fully alert and the adorable, his full face yawn totally stole my heart! Mom and dad have been doing an amazing job supporting one another and being there for all of Kiyansh's needs. They're not only so beyond in love with him but their love for one another is just as beautiful.
During Kiyansh's session I started capturing a new favorite moment/pose. While doing the bum up pose (which is the curly tushie pose) I have dads and sometimes moms place their hand on their little bundles. This not only shows the sheer size of how small or big their newborn is, but also creates a deeper connection to the image by being a part of the photo with their cutie.
Mama has been sending me updated video's and photos as Kiyansh has been developing and growing and I absolutely LOVE being a part of your little ones growth journey, please always feel free to update me!!
