I recently had the pleasure of diving into an impromptu maternity session, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! When Dad casually mentioned that Mom was already 37 weeks pregnant, I couldn't help but think, "Whoa, this is going to be hard on Mom." But you know what? She killed it! Her tiny bump was beyond adorable, and can we take a moment to appreciate just how gorgeous she looked?

As always, I offer a large variety of gowns, and guess what Mom brought with her? A Sari! It was my first time shooting maternity with one, and the results were nothing short of stunning. I love experimenting with different styles and having a blast during post-processing with textures, colors, and designs.

It was evident that she had some professional modeling experience under her belt. She effortlessly adjusted her angles, fine-tuned her hand positions, and nailed every facial expression. The session turned into a delightful challenge as I tried to keep up with capturing the plethora of fun variations Mom threw my way.

Now, let's talk about timing. While this spontaneous adventure was a blast, I'd be remiss not to mention that being 37 weeks along in a pregnancy isn't something I typically advise for expecting Moms. The further along you are, the more strain it puts on your body, affecting your overall comfort. For me, photography is about creating timeless memories, and when we look at photos, we're transported back to the moments they were taken. In my professional opinion, the process is just as crucial as the result.

So, here's to embracing the unexpected, capturing stunning moments, and ensuring both the journey and the destination are equally memorable!
