I'm going to start off by saying that Maternity Sessions are by far my most favorite. It's such an exciting time for expecting parents, everything is new and exciting as this new chapter develops. But a soon as I have a newborn baby in my hands...then that's my favorite session. What can I say about this particular maternity shoot, what an amazing pair! I have known Luba for many many years now; we were even on a group Colorado trip years ago where she chatted up to my best friend to introduce her to her cousin, now happily married to my best friend! Luba is a free spirit and so fun loving. When we originally talked on the phone about what type of maternity session she wanted it was, "I’m up and willing for anything! I want it to be snowing and I’m okay with being in a thin maternity gown". Of course I’m always happy to hear my clients trust me and are up for anything but safety for mama and soon to be baby are still my number one concerns over any great shot. So prepped with lots of blankets, pregnancy hormones and a very nervous Andrey we were ready.
The session moved smoothly and Luba a downright natural in front of the camera. Wearing purple, blue and red complimented her ivory skin and her beautiful red hair. Thank you for trusting my vision to make you feel as beautiful as you look!
Andrey, you're so blessed. You have an amazingly beautiful wife and soon to be mama of your little 'first mate'. Luba, it's absolutely undeniable how in love Andrey is with you. With how gentle and caring he was to the simple way he looks at you with such affection and admiration!
