When Kira contacted me through a Facebook group for your family photo's it was last minute but I was glad I had an opening, because her family and boys were simply adorable! With kids I always expect to work much harder than any other session. They are the boss and their mood is never predictable, but I always assume they'll make me work for the smiles and it'll take them a while to warm up to the idea of having a camera pointed towards them. The boys are simply too cute for words! Keaton had a rough time waking up from his nap and REALLY made me work for the smiles but thanks to the introduction of bubbles it was hard to have him sit still and NOT smile. Lately, the Chicago weather has been either nothing but rain and tornado warning or super hot with a heat index of 100+. So of course we I arrived it was raining outside, although we were lucky enough that the rain passed through quickly and we were able to enjoy a bit of the outdoor deck and even the gorgeous views of the skyline on the rooftop deck.
